Q: You are using some form of online protection. Does it mean I have to be connected to the Internet in order to play a game I bought from you?
A: No. After the game installs and when it runs for the first time, it connects to the online server and verifies that this is a legal copy (you might be asked to enter a serial number). This is the only time you have to be connected to the Internet. When you run the game next time, the online verification is not required, unless your system configuration has changed significantly.

Q: What is a significant change, then?
A: We cannot be very specific about it, but the system is quite reasonable. And even if the system is changed, you can always enter your serial number and after connecting to the online server and following the number verification, the game will run normally as before.

Q: I bought game XYZ but I am not able to download it. What can I do?
A: There may be several issues in play here, including some firewall problems, spy-ware or ad-ware protection. Try disabling this kind of software on your computer. Q: I bought game XYZ and the download did not work. What should I do?
A: If you have purchased one of our games and the download did not work contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ; support will then provide you a new download link. Make sure you use the link in one of the following browsers (or their newer versions): Opera 9, Internet Explorer 7, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, but NOT in Internet Explorer 6.

Q: I have purchased game XYZ and never received any invoice e-mail. What can I do to get my CD Key and/or Activation Key.
A: If you have purchased a game from our website and never received a invoice e-mail log into your account on the webpage and click Account Maintenance link. Here you should see your previously purchased games and also all your paid and pending orders.

Q: I just bought game XYZ and I am having problems activating it; what should I do?
A: During your purchase of our game XYZ you had to fill in your Personal Details (first name, last name and e-mail), Address Details, and your Credit / Debit Card Details. This means your game is already activated for use. On the activation screen you have activate a new license, re-install existing license, and lost your licensing detail. If you purchased the game online you should select re-install existing license (put in your Purchase Reference number and the E-mail Address you used during your purchase). Q: I bought the game XYZ and it does not work. Will you help me?
A: No. We cannot provide support for the games you buy through SprocketIdea.com. Contact the developer/publisher of the game you are experiencing problems with.

Q: I bought the game XYZ on the old sprocket, can I re-download it again from the new one?
A: Yes, simply register on new sprocket using the same e-mail address you were using on the old sprocket. If you have done this, in Account Maintenance you will find game(s) you bought and re-download link(s).

Q: What is SecuROM?
A: SecuROM is a CD/DVD copy protection product, most often used for commercial computer games running under Microsoft Windows, developed by Sony DADC. SecuROM aims to resist home media duplication devices, professional duplicators, and attempts at reverse engineering the game. By purchase you obtain 5 (five) activations of bought product for time of 6 (six) months. After time of 6 (six) months activations are re-set to original number. Activations may be used on same and/or on different hardware, substracting one activation per installation. Un-installation revokes one activation back, so clients may use their installations without any limits and in maximized comfort.

Q: Can I have game with SecuROM protection installed on two or more computers?
A: Yes. Your CD-Key can be activated on more computers in one time, but you will be unable to play multiplayer from two or more computers at one time. CD-Key is meant to be for one user and one user only.

Q: I downloaded my Arma/ Arma Gold and it is not working, just asking for license holder name and purchase reference number.
A: Please shut it down and apply 1.14 patch from here : http://www.armedassault.com/dwnl_update.html, run game then.

Q: I downloaded my UFO: Afterlight and it is only in Russian language. What can I do to change it?
A: Please, download patch 1.7 here. You will be able to change game language during the installation of patch.
By the way it is not Russian but Czech language :) .

Q: What does DRM Free means?
A: "DRM FREE" means: Game does not use DRM (Digital Rights Management) protection. At our site (http://www.sprocket-idea.com) we offer many games DRM free, what means that when you buy game like this, you own it. You can also download the game or install it as many times as you want without any limit. Ability to play these games without internet conection is matter-of-course.

Q: I am a developer/publisher and I would like to sell my games through Sprocket. Is this possible?

Q: I downloaded game but now I can not find any files and installation haven't started. What can I do?
A: Please check documents/sprocket/ directory, files should be here .
